LAY LEADERSHIP
Scripture is certainly clear that the work of ministry is a team effort. Ephesians 4:4-6 makes the case that the ordained pastors and related servants are to teach and train other members of the body of Christ for leadership positions.
At Center Presbyterian this has obviously occurred over the years as we have a robust group of individuals who are elders, deacons, trustees and teachers. And, in addition, many others without a specific title work behind the scenes in the Lord’s work.
If you are a member or friend of Center Presbyterian there are numerous opportunities to participate in ministry. If there is no specific position to fill, that should not be a deterrent. We will find a place for you.
